Pods average 4–6 inches long with thick walls and juicy flesh, perfect for stuffing, roasting, sauces, or poppers. Heat is mild to medium, balanced by subtle smokiness, gentle sweetness, and earthy undertones.
Plants are vigorous, often topping 4 feet and producing heavy yields that may require staking. Believed to have originated from a cross with an Ancho Mulato, this unique variety delivers the familiar jalapeño kick with a delicious chocolate-colored twist.
