Chocolate Bhutlah SM - (Capsicum chinense)

Possibly the next World Record Holder of the hottest pepper.  Although not official yet many claim the Chocolate Bhutlah put the Carolina Reaper to shame on heat.  The name of the pepper was initially used to reference a cross between the 7 Pot Douglah and the Bhut Jolokia (ghost pepper).  Chocolate for its color, Bhut for Bhut Jolokia, and lah from Douglah.  The chocolate bhutlah is a large chili, typically with a blistered exterior, and has a floral taste.  This SM version was created in collaboration with Steven McLauren & his team after many generations of growth.

Heat level:  Claimed to be more than 2,000,000 Ave.(SHU) Scoville Heat Units – Insanely Hot

Flavor:  Fruity but insanely hot.
