Trinidad Perfume – (Capsicum chinense)

The Trinidad Perfume is a Caribbean chinense pepper that looks like a superhot but delivers almost no burn—just rich, tropical aroma and sweet, fruity flavor. Heat is extremely low at 0–500 SHU, making it perfect for those who want habanero-style taste without the fire. Plants are productive and form clusters of glossy yellow, lantern-shaped pods about 1–2 inches long, sometimes with tiny scorpion-like tips. The peppers shine in soups, salads, and Caribbean dishes, adding fragrance and flavor without overwhelming heat.
