Sugar Rush Stripey - (Capsicum bacattum)

By far one of the most beautiful and intriguing pepper varieties. The Sugar Rush Stripey matures from a creamy peach color to a gorgeous reddish striped beauty. They grow to about 4-6 inches in length and shaped like other Sugar Rush varieties but some of the pods will be curved and bulbous. The flavor is sweet and fruity and have heat similar to a cayenne pepper. The walls are fairly thick so they are hearty and crunchy. They go great with cheese and crackers or even filled with cream cheese. The plants are very productive and will grow to 4-5 feet tall. A must for any grower.

Heat level: 25,000-50,000 (SHU) Scoville Heat Units – Low/Medium Heat.

Flavor: Sweet & Fruity.

Arrived well packaged. Excited to grow my new peppers!

Seeds arrived quickly and well packed w/instructions for sprouting. Points to seller for including several additional seeds beyond the 10 in case of viability issues. I tried two sprouting options hydroponic (since the kids git a set up for me as a gift) and my tried and true seed mat and humidity dome.
Of the approx 15 seeds only 5 sprouted, 2 hydro and 3 traditional method. Will see how they produce...hopefully.

Not sure why you use expensive mailing when the seeds could easily be sent via USPS

Not sure why you use expensive mailing when the seeds could easily be sent via USPS. This took too long to arrive.
The seeds have been planted and I am waiting to see a sprig coming up from the soil.
