Thunder Cayenne peppers grow to impressive lengths, often exceeding 12 inches, with a slender, curled shape reminiscent of the Thunder Mountain Longhorn. The skin is slightly rippled, tapering to a curved tip, and ripens from vibrant green to a deep, fiery red.  This hybrid delivers a complex and robust flavor that balances the earthy, smoky sweetness of the Thunder Mountain Longhorn with the bold, slightly sharper heat of the Cayenne.  The Thunder Cayenne is ideal for drying and grinding into flavorful chili powder or flakes.
