Naga Bengal - Seeds

Description

The Naga Bengal is an average sized Naga pepper named after the Bengal region of India. Brought into being by accident in a greenhouse full of Bhut Jolokia, these pods are a relative of the ‘Dorset Naga’ and so are generous on both heat and flavor. The Naga Bengal peppers ripen from green to orange red and get up to 3 inches in length. They taper to a point and have a pimply outer skin texture. The Naga Bengal chile plants grow over 4 feet tall and are very productive.

Heat level:  732,000–980,000 (SHU) Scoville Heat Units – Extremely Hot

Flavor:  Sweet with some floral tones but not as earthy like a Bhut Jolokia.
