Thor’s Thunderbolt is a fierce hybrid from North Queensland, Australia, famous for its jagged, lightning-bolt pods and dramatic color shift from deep purple to pinkish tones, then into a peach- or orange-cream finish. Plants grow medium to large with dark purple-black foliage, producing heavy yields of thin-fleshed, bumpy peppers about 2" long, similar in shape to ghost-type chiles. Flavor is fruity, floral, and lightly citrusy, sometimes with a brief bitter edge before the heat kicks in. It delivers intense fire without entering full superhot territory.
