Goat Brains - (Capsicum Chinense)
This unique pepper variety, developed by Justin White, is a cross between Bahamian Goat and Scotch Brains. It produces gnarly, bonnet-like pods with notable heat, likely a bit spicier than a habanero. Two main phenotypes appear: one with a warm orange-peach color and another pale yellow, almost white. The flavor combines the best of its parent peppers, yielding a fruity heat reminiscent of Bahamian Goat. With its high yield, similar to the Bahamian Goat, and F3 status, this pepper remains genetically unstable, so growing results may vary slightly.
Heat level: Estimated 250,000 to 400,000 SHU – Very Hot.
Flavor: Citrusy and Scotch Bonnet Taste.
