Farmers Market Jalapeno - (Capsicum annum)

Market Jalapeno is also known as the Potato Jalapeno due to its corking texture similar to a cantaloupe. The peppers grown large for a Jalapeno getting up to 5-6 inches in length. The flavor is on par with other Jalapenos but with a milder heat and a zestier deeper taste. This is one of the more interesting peppers out there.

Flavor: Earthy and Slightly Sweet.
