I bought 10 chocolate, 10 yellow, and 10 red MOA Scotch Bonnet pepper seeds after learning that my original Scotch Bonnet was actually a Jamaican Mushroom pepper. Out of the 12 seeds I’ve planted exactly zero have sprouted. I have 3 in wet paper towels and 9 in a seedling dome in starter mix, all on a heat mat set to 82 degrees. I’ve read that it can take up to 21 days for a scotch bonnet to sprout. It has been much longer than 21 days since I planted them. I will continue to water them for another couple weeks, but I’m not hopeful in their viability. I don’t know if these just weren’t matured or perhaps are just old seeds. I’ve searched and searched for anything I may be doing wrong, and I can’t find anything. I would have been happy if just one of each color sprouted because then I could just save seeds myself, but I haven’t gotten one of any color to sprout. The 2 stars are just because it was packaged well and arrived on time. Other than that, my purchase has been a complete let down.
