Sweet Sunset is a 2015 All-America Selections (AAS) award-winning sweet banana pepper prized for its crisp texture, sweet flavor, and heavy yields. Compact plants grow just 2 to 3 feet tall, making them ideal for gardens, raised beds, and containers, while producing up to 15–20 peppers per plant. The slightly curved fruits reach 7–8 inches long and mature from pale green to bright yellow, then orange and red if left on the plant longer. Thick-walled and crunchy, they're excellent fresh, pickled, canned, fried, or sliced onto salads, sandwiches, and pizzas.

Maturing in 85–90 days from transplant, Sweet Sunset produces early and continues throughout the season, offering both outstanding productivity and beautiful color in the garden.
