Spring is approaching and it’s getting close to transferring the plants into the garden.
The long range weather forecast looks like the next two nights will be the last freezing temperatures we will see before spring. We will start the hardening process of the plants the next two weeks and if the weather still cooperates we’ll start transplanting them to the garden next weekend.
A new drip irrigation is on tap for this year too. We will be assembling it this coming weekend. The new system should really help deliver a more consistent flow of water and help minimize any spread of diseases compared to the sprinkler system we previously used. Excited to get this up and running.
We have expanded the main garden and added several new growing areas throughout the property. Overall we plan to have about triple the pepper plants that we grew last year.
Below is an updated list of the new varieties of pepper plants we will be growing this year:

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the grow progress in the garden.
We are up to around 325 different varieties of peppers that we will eventually have listed for seeds on the site. We will be adding as fast as they are producing.
